In recognition of its ongoing efforts to minimise the impacts of its business on the planet, Rainford Solutions is proud to have achieved a coveted bronze rating from EcoVadis. This is the first time that Rainford Solutions has been formally assessed for its sustainability initiatives. The designer and manufacturer of enclosures for infrastructure projects around the UK has a clear and ongoing commitment to achieving further success in reducing its impact on the environment going forward.
Founded in 2007, EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings.
The EcoVadis sustainability assessment vigorously evaluates how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) into its business and management system.
The methodology is based on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, The United Nations Global Compact and the ISO 26000. The sustainability Scorecard illustrates performance across no less than 21 indicators, in four themes: environment; labour and human rights; ethics; and sustainable procurement.
Thanks to the ongoing efforts of its entire team across the whole business, Rainford Solutions scored well across all areas, achieving an overall bronze rating. This places Rainford Solutions among the top 50 percent of companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
